I’ve just upgraded the blog engine that runs this thingy to the latest version, WP 2.9.1, and it seems to have fixed a few annoying bugs (mostly annoying to me, behind the scenes). If this post goes up smoothly, then I’ll be one happy old boy.
Well, crappity! Some of the old bugs still exist. Some have been fixed, but others are still there. So I’m happy, but not as happy as I could be. And I’m anticipating the arrival of WP 2.9.2… sometime.

Yes. I much prefer this group to the NRA.
I actually reached for my .38 last night when a young, unrecognized man knocked on our door at 8:30 last night. Mauro saw another young man was waiting in a car on the curb. The men left after about a few minutes of repeated knocking, but I’m glad the gun was loaded and ready.

Just a thought: do you have a sign prominently displayed on or near your front door that you’re armed? That “might” deter some bad guys.
