Earlier today my opponent playing the Black pieces offered me a draw with her 30th move. I accepted the offer even though my next move would have been 31.Bxd4 giving me a slight material advantage. My army of Bishop and 5 pawns and her army of Knight and 4 pawns would then have faced an insufferably long battle of attrition against each other. Much better just to call the game a draw now, shake hands, and focus attention on our other games.
