Round Three

Bahlactus has set the rules, decreeing that at least one of the combatants be a female, and has thrown the first punch, opening Round Three for the rest of us.

My entry to the fight is Crazy Pirate Lady, bouncer at the bar in the House of Mystery, a lady with whom one does not want to mess, shown here breaking the wrist of a patron who wouldn’t leave when she told him to.

This moment of bone breaking comes from House of Mystery #2, written by Matthew Sturges and Bill Willingham, with art by Luca Rossi and Jill Thompson, and carrying an August 2008 publication date (though it hit the stores in June) from Vertigo.
