		<description>I&#039;m glad Esther&#039;s enjoying Hellsing. 

Even though the Hellsing manga was written before the Hellsing anime was made, most Americans know it from the anime rather than the manga. By the time Hirano wrote the 3rd volume, from which this graphic panel comes, the two were beginning to develop along different paths, not only in terms of plot line but also character portrayal. These differences are so profound that it&#039;s really difficult for fans of Hellsing in one medium to carry on a conversation with those who know it only from the other. 

As for me, having been exposed to both, I greatly prefer the manga, written, drawn, and totally controlled as it is by the original manga-ka. </description>
